The Opportunity:
As an Associate for SAP Group Reporting, you will support the implementation of SAP Group Reporting. The role entails delivery, execution & support across many financial systems including SAP FICO, SAP BPC, Anaplan, and Hyperion/Essbase. The person in this position will be an individual contributor. The role is part of the Controllership Organization within CFO office.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, IT, Computers, or another
similar field - Minimum of 3-5 years of SAP experience with SAP ERP
and/or SAP S/4 HANA with hands-on configuration/development with Insurance
and/or finance. - Hands-on experience implementing SAP Group Reporting
- At-least 1 full Life-cycle SAP implementation experience
or other similar product - Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills and
ability to adapt to change - Familiarity/Experience in SAP modules such as GR, FI, CO,
AR, AP, GL, Cons/ECCS, Treasury etc.
The Ideal Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or equivalent and/or Certified Public
Accountant preferred - A Full life-cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation with SAP
Group Reporting and Universal Ledger highly preferred - Knowledge of US GAAP, insurance statutory
accounting/reporting and/or experience in financial institutions preferred - Experience in other SAP products – SAP FICO, SAP BPC, SAP
BW, SAP R3 - Work in a fast paced and agile work environment to meet
or exceed deadlines - Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt to
change - Ability to proactively take ownership of deliverables and
drive to completion - Experience working in a finance transformational setting
and driving change - Use increasing insight to identify and implement
improvements that increase the business value and efficiency of the work
performed - Experience with Anaplan, SAP BPC and
Hyperion/Essbase preferred - Understanding of consolidations, intercompany
eliminations and legal entity management - Experience in best-in-class control
execution/documentation - Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written
communication skills - Ability to work across levels, from staff to management
The Impact:
- Accountability –
- Under guidance, assist with the SAP Group Reporting implementation specifically to support Consolidation accounting and reporting along with associated configuration in SAP FICO, SAP BPC and other downstream integrations
- Supports Domain owner for all Group Reporting related changes, system modifications and testing
- Business Acumen –
- Develop an understanding of the SAP architecture, data integrations and data flows
- Inclusion –
- Collaborate closely with other Controllers teams, such as the financial close team, Consolidations team and reporting to ensure the accurate recognition of accounting for each legal entity
- Resilience –
- Under guidance, support the full SAP Reporting configuration/solutions evaluation/execution in partnership with other teams, IT & Off-shore business partners
- Development –
- Support SAP centric configuration & process changes in alignment with accounting policy within the Controllers Organization for evaluation/implementation of new GAAP/statutory consolidation reporting needs
- Support Configuration & tactical support to other peer teams such as SAP Treasury, SAP Data Analytics, SAP FICO, SAP Profitability, SAP Treasury, and other Project team members
- Leading Others –
- Supports Use Case formulation, As-Is/To-be analysis, product demos, Joint Application Development (JAD sessions) to help understand processes, SAP systems capabilities, and business benefits
- Agility –
- Understand how data flows through financial systems to accounting function & plan appropriately for changes while prioritizing
